Viral Marketing Defined Viral marketing is always as effective as others say it if it would be done properly. It is effective, yes. Viral marketing is a phenomenon that occurs when the creative message you're trying to convey resonates deeply with the audience you're speaking to. If you're doing your homework and adequately planning the right messaging, with some incentive that clearly benefits the consumer, then viral marketing occurs. Viral Marketing is most powerful when it taps into the breadth of its customers' weak connections to others. Tapping the customer's entire address book is more valuable than just reaching their best friend. Viral marketing is usually delivered through word-of-mouth or even enhanced by the network effects of the Internet and it is seen as a marketing "strategy", encouraging people to pass along a marketing passage voluntarily. This strategy starts from the premises that a satisfied customer always tells other people about a certain product/service he was satisfied with. Viral marketing is all about leveraging various services or products to promote your product in a fast way. The internet can drive traffic to any website, but it’s finding the sites that have a LOT of traffic that you need to leverage. Viral marketing is creating an awareness of a product or a service, without really advertising it. For instance, you wear branded jeans with the nametag on the back. Viral Marketing is the creation of a message that gets passed on from person to person(s). It gives each recipient the ability to pass on your message to even more people with little or no effort. Viral Marketing is so successful because creates the curiosity and desire needed to generate the demand for a product or service. It causes people to seek it out. Viral marketing is simply utilizing pre-existing social networks to produce increases in brand awareness. Never before have so many had access to so much, and for free! Viral marketing is about delayed gratification. You may not profit today, or tomorrow, but if you can generate a groundswell of interest from something free that will help you profit "soon and for the rest of your life.". Free attracts eyeballs. Viral marketing is a collection of methods used to deliver your business' message to as many people as possible by impelling those who hear or see your message to pass it on. In the old days, this was known as "word of mouth" marketing. Viral Marketing is a good bit about winning hearts and minds. This is the opposite of winning hearts and minds. Viral marketing is a compounding function. A marketer does something and then a consumer tells five or ten people. Viral marketing is a great tactic to earn revenue when promoting a product or service. The only drawback is that as people grow more conscience of affiliate programs, they may avoid your affiliate link. Viral marketing is often attempted but rarely successful. Social media and social networks have become the playgrounds for most online marketers. Viral marketing is the use of social networks for advertising purposes. It is most often mentioned and recognized as word-of-mouth advertising. Viral marketing is natural human behavior. It will be the same online marketing also.
